Synopsis (From Goodreads): For Nora Grey, romance was not part of the plan. She's never been particularly attracted to the boys at her school, no matter how much her best friend, Vee, pushes them at her...until Patch comes along. With his easy smile and eyes that seem to see inside her, Nora is drawn to him against her better judgment, but after a series of terrifying encounters, Nora's not sure whom to trust. Patch seems to be everywhere she is, and to know more about her than her closest friends.

She can't decide whether she should fall into his arms or run and hide. And when she tries to seek some answers, she finds herself near a truth that is far more unsettling than anything Patch makes her feel. For Nora is right in the middle of an ancient battle between the immortal and those that have fallen - and when it comes to choosing sides, the wrong choice will cost her life.

This was such an enjoyable read all the way round. I had bought this book after hearing so many good things about it. Plus the concept was somewhat new to me so I was excited to see what would come of a love story between a human girl and a fallen angel.

Well the story revolves around Nora who lives with her mother on a farm. Nora is quite a lovable character and I thought that she was well developed and real. This made it easy for me to follow her trials and tribulations as well as how she deals with Patch a new student with a past... a very dark past.

Patch who seeks out Nora is the quintessential bad boy (the ones we love to hate but cannot resist). He is also secretive and keeps Nora at a distance all the while knowing everything there is to know about her. I loved the character of Patch. He was so real to me and that is a great testament to the writing of Hush, Hush which was strong.

The two main characters were delightful to follow throughout the journey of the book. The writing was really good containing suspense, intrigue, action, mystery and a wallop of a love story sewn throughout the story. I began reading this book and within a couple of days I was finished reading it. Crescendo the sequel to Hush, Hush just came out and I can't wait to see what happens to Nora and Patch next.
