NANOWRIMO 2011

Oh my God. That is all I have to say. It is 11:51 right now and I have spent the last hour trying to validate my document (fellow NanoWrimMo's will get my frustration) onto the NanWriMo website. Which goes to show that you should never leave things to the last minute. Anyway, I am glad to say that I have finished a completed novel (albeit a rough one). Three cheers and a pat on the back for me. No seriously I was doing the happy dance when I got home from the coffee shop where I wrote most of the time.

When I first heard about NanoWriMo I was very apprehensive at first thinking that it would be impossible to write 50,000 words in a mere month but I am proof that it is possible. I trudged through 1,667 words required every day sometimes meeting my goal and sometimes not, but ultimately I never gave up and that is key to getting to the finish line. It is now five minutes to the first of December and I am glad that the month is over. Now I just need a large cup of hot chocolate (or warm cookies out of the oven) to celebrate. To Ikarus my NanoWriMo buddy I couldn't have done it without you. Now back onto focusing on the blog I have neglected for the last month.
