I have to say that I was a little disappointed with Darkness Becomes Her. I was hopeful that it was going to be good and combining greek mythology with the paranormal was an interesting idea. The story started out very strong and I was interested in Ari as a character and why she had had the life she had to this point but the story lost steam mid way through. The writing was good and the characters were interesting. There were great characters that Ari meets who quickly become her friends. They range from the unique to very strange but all of them are well developed and you as a reader become invested in their stories as well. As for the ending I thought it was abrupt and rushed but very exciting and action packed.
Overall this story has good aspects to it as stated above. Anyone who is looking for a paranormal story with a twist would find it interesting however it wasn't for me.
It looks interesting, but I would have thought it was better than that. I don't think I'll put it on top of my TBR pile.
