NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS
The inception and development of Open Book Empty Cup has been such a fun and adventurous process for me. My life has been enriched by the experience and sharing my love of books with everyone has become such a source of joy for me. And so with 2010 coming to a close I have two New Years Resolutions that I hope to be able to accomplish for the coming year. Now that I have been blogging for less than half a year (with many more years to come I hope) I have two goals for the blog.
Read More- I hope to read more books period. I have set a personal goal of reading 30 book for 2011. I normally do not count the amount of books that I read so this is an arbitrary number but 30 sound like a good goal.
Strive to Improve the Blog- As time passes, I hope to grow and improve the blog. I am new to the blogging community but I hope that I can exceed the expectations I have set for the blog by striving to provide the best possible content everyday.
With that said I do have a couple of books that have stood out for special reasons. Keep in mind that this list is based on the books that I have read from the beginning the blog to the end of the year:
Best Book of 2010
Hunger Games Suzanne Collins
Best Cover
Beautiful Creatures Kami Garcia & Margaret Stohl
Most Disappointing Book
Book of Tomorrow by Cecelia Ahern
Most Exciting Page Turner
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Most Surprising Find (which turned out to be a great a gem)
Enchanted Hunters by Maria Tatar
Happy New Year! I hope you meet all of your resolutions in 2011 :)
